Thank you all for the support -- yes, Rachel it was undoubtedly a divine push - I can take no credit for thinking of it myself.

And divine intevention as Super Grandpa was called home this morning.

So, the Super family will be trekking to snowy Illinois next week. You're right Kelly - this is not vacation!

And Tom -- hugs right back at you and see you soon!

Behaviors at home with an "escape plan" are one thing ... on the road with behaviors in the next bed is quite another !! Thank God you had the instinct or divine push to crawl into bed with Lulu -- just what she (and you) needed. Especially as sleep will be critical if you now have to deal with new family needs and expectations. So maybe the key is to somehow respond to the child as a CHILD, not as a stack of inconvenient-as-heck behaviors. (Much easier from the armchair than on the field!) God knows I need that reminder today. -- Rachel
Julie, please give LuLu a dose of hugs she'll be able to handle from her extended family, and know that I'm thinking about ALL of you this day.

I hope I'm not jumping the gun here by posting this. Super Sister called me this morning with the news. Prayers and condolences to ALL of you, and extra prayers for LuLu to help her through the loss we all feel.

Why didn't you think of it sooner? You're in the midst of absolute chaos and stress!!! You're not in FL on vacation. You're dealing with a horrible situation and I'm sure lots of emotions. You and Super Dad are facing what could be an even more emotional "end" to this trip. Why would you be thinking rationally?

Hugs my friend. And don't forget to take care of yourself, and give Super Dad a hug from us too.
