Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines is offering an Autism on the Seas cruise for autistic children and their families. The cruise is booked through Alumni Cruises, who will provide autism specialists and special programming for the children. They’ve thought of everything including special dietary considerations. So those with gluten/casein free diets or other restrictions can easily be accommodated. And service dogs are welcomed as well!

They have planned activities for the children at various times, to allow the parents some alone time, as well as activities planned so that families of autistic children with be able to interact. Hmmm…sounds like fun.

They have cruises planned for July 2007 and January 2008 so far, with the potential for more in the works.

That is really cool! It can be hard at tims traveleing with a special needs child and to go somewhere that had special activities designed for Noah would be so neat! He doesn't have autism though - I wonder if "autistic tendencies" count?!
