WOW M! That's fantastic. What a perfect babysitter. I would definitely not let this gal slip away without knowing where she ends up.

Julie, wow...I loved this line: "many Occupational Therapists are clueless." haha..so true.

DS qualifies for consultative services..but right now, there is a grad. school OT interning at his preschool. She has been the best thing for him (and she's leaving in two classes and we are all worried). She GETS him. She has great instincts about her and has tuned into his strange, trauma type sensory issues that I can never explain to an OT. She formed a bond with him (which no one has ever done) after a couple classes. Now, they start class with a big, deep hug (which he does!!) and she said he's 100% different with that emotional closes and deep pressure. For group time, she got him a little chair on the floor and a squish ball, and he listens to story, songs, everything. The other teacher thought he was misbehaving becuase before he would turn his back to her. And she just asked me if she can make him a sensory vest at school because she "would just love to"

She wants to babysit!
