You Might Have an Adopted Child with ADHD if…

If your adopted child constantly leaves jackets and shoes outside, somewhere, but doesn’t know where, then your child might have ADHD.

If you cannot find your child because he is on the roof, he might have ADHD.

If your adopted child accidentally breaks something almost every day, she might have ADHD.

If your child broke your DSL cable plug, he might have ADHD.

If your child has broken chunks out of ceiling tiles while playing basketball indoors, he might have ADHD.

If your child decided that the fastest exit from the house was the bedroom window, she might have ADHD.

If your child slid a chair across the kitchen floor and broke the glass oven door accidentally, he might have ADHD.

If your child filled the woodstove, then left the door open, so the wood all burned up, and warped the door, he might have ADHD.

If your adopted child borrowed one of your antique glasses for a tea party and it got broken, she might have ADHD.

If your child filled the soap dispensers, and left the soap jug on the floor, so it tipped over and all the soap spilled onto the bathroom floor, she might have ADHD.

If your child knocked on the front door and broke the glass out, he might have ADHD.

If your child took out the trash and you found it on the porch then your child might have ADHD.

If your child was chasing a baseball, and returned an hour later with a pocket full of rock and a snake, he might have ADHD.

If your child swears he cleaned the bathroom, but obviously didn’t, he might have ADHD.

If you just reminded your child for the tenth time to finish homework, you child might have ADHD.

If you catch your child playing with matches in the hay barn, he might have ADHD.

If your child has picked a hole in her scalp, she might have ADHD.

If your child spends more time with the principal than the teacher, he may have ADHD.

If your child totals two or more vehicles before turning 18, he might have ADHD.

If your child gets lost driving home from the church he has attended his entire life, he may have ADHD.

If your child still colors walls and isn't a toddler, she might have ADHD.

If your teenager was babysitting,wandered off into the woods, leaving the baby alone in the swing, he probably has ADHD.

If people describe your child as talkative,high-strung, fidgety, and annoying, your child probably has ADHD.

If your 13 yr old scalps themselves skipping across the entryway, because they forgot they were six feet tall and that pesky doorway hit them just so, they might have ADD.

If your 3 yr old flings their cowboy boot just so, it flies across a huge room, and crashes through the window, they might have ADD.

If your 4 yr old wears the tires smooth on their little 12 inch bicycle, they might have ADD.

If your child, at any age, has a huge heart, an inquisitive mind and a sensitive nature, they might have ADD.

If your husband cannot remember which child typically sits where at meal times, even tho he's been a parent for 25 years, he might have ADD.
